It is with great sorrow that FERPA, the European Federation of Retired and Elderly Persons, announces that Georges Debunne died in Brussels on September 22nd instant at the age of 90.
A conference under the “eSangathan” European project instigated in October 2006 was held in the European Commission building in Brussels on 16 September.
Sponsored by FERPA, Italy’s FNP-CISL federation has carried out a research study on “good information and training practices for workers over 55”.
The European Conference held in Florence on 16 May 2008 broached the problems of the ageing of the European population and the need to protect and guarantee the rights.
